The little town received the name Lutz after the famous “Lutz Junction” running through the town, which brought settlers and a post office to the area. In the 1960’s the city was no longer dependent on the railroad and remodeled the area to commemorate their rich history. Now the town is known for its beautiful remodel and vibrant residents.
