Located north of Downtown Tampa lies the little town of Northdale. The little community was a 1,300 acre purchase, which later would be developed into a dairy farm and ranch. In 1970 the Criterion Corporation purchased the ranch from the retiring owners, and transformed the property into the historic community we know today.
Although known for its historic dairy roots, Northdale is home to many high quality restaurants, shops, entertainment, and community events. Enjoy a day out with friends at the Emerald Green Golf Resort followed by an afternoon playing doubles at the Van Dyke Farms Tennis Center. If you enjoy a more scenic afternoon take a walk through Calusa Trace Park.
Known for its close proximity, Northdale’s residents have excess to many of Tampa’s most dazzling entertainment options such as The St. Pete Times Forum, The Florida Aquarium, The Straz Center, Busch Gardens, Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World.
Northdale’s easy access to I-275, The Veterans Expressway, Dale Mabry Highway, Fletcher Avenue, Busch Boulevard, Gunn Highway, and Bearss Avenue allow for efficient travel to and from Downtown Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Orlando.
